Lately I've been really struggling to eat healthy and work out every day. I really want to become fit the way that I was in high school way back in 2007. It is my goal to make gains and completely tone my body. Food is my weakness and healthy foods are not included in that weakness. Greasy foods are what I prefer to have, healthy food lacks flavor in my opinion. I love to cook and I've tried all types of healthy meals but healthy food bores me and I always end up eating terribly again. I made this blog to hopefully inspire myself as well as others to eat others. Hopefully my blog will become more interesting later down the line.

We all tend to want the comfort foods because its makes us feel better temporary. When we are finished eating unhealthy we then feel lethargic. I went vegan for 10 days and I must say I felt better than I ever had even when I was young. They say we are what we eat and I believe that because of my experience.
ReplyDeleteIt is so difficult to eat healthy. It's often times more expensive and less convenient. When you're always on the go it can be a real challenge. The same goes for working out. I have always tried to work out religiously. Then, I went to bed one night in April and woke up last week realizing I haven't worked out hardly at all in between. I have been trying to work on that myself. The struggle is real!
ReplyDeleteI used to think that healthy foods were unappetizing, too, until I found some really awesome recipes online. Pintrest has really amazing recipes so you may want to browse some of their recipes. Also, one of my favorite weightloss blogs is www.blackgirlsguidetoweightloss.com lots of recipe ideas and just goof information overall about why we overeat and how to combat it. I'm super looking forward to what you'll have to say in future blogs.
ReplyDeleteBrandi, I can feel ya on this one! I too want to get physically in shape, however I find it hard to simply find the time between working full time and being a full time student. There are, however TONS of healthy meal options. Check out Pinterest. There are lots of great crock pot recipes that can cook while you're at work or school and be ready for you when you get home.
